Cambridge Golf Club’s Development Centre is dedicated to the advancement of Junior Golf in our community. We are recognized as a National Junior Golf Development Centre in Canada and all of our programs are delivered by PGA of Canada Golf Professionals in partnership with Golf Canada’s Learn to Play Program. Our academy provides an age/ability stream known as Start Golf, Learn Golf and Play Golf as well as a Girls Club Program and a Competitive Stream offering a New Competitor Team and a Developing Competitor Team called the Cambridge Cobras. 2026 START GOLF CLINICS
Start golf clinics are for the athlete that has had little to no golf experience. Focus will be on providing a safe and enjoyable introduction to golf specific skills such as putting, chipping and full swing with an emphasis on the basic FUNdamentals of setup (grip, alignment, stance and posture) rules and etiquette. 4:1 Athlete/Coach Ratio. Clubs available to use if required.

2026 LEARN GOLF CLINICS
Learn golf clinics and camps build on the Start Golf Fundamentals and are for the athlete that has developed golf skills from previous lessons or activities. This phase will see further development of specific skills such as putting, chipping, pitching, bunker play and full swing and include an understanding of the rules and etiquette of the game. Participants in the Learn Golf Clinics will have an additional “2 hole game-day” added to introduce being on the course. Clubs available to use if required.

2026 PLAY GOLF CLINICS – Invite Only
Play golf clinics are Invite only. They consist of 8 week programs and are designed for the athlete that has graduated from the LEARN golf clinics and who wants to learn more about how to play the game on the golf course. Time will be predominatly spent on the golf course learning about etiquette, the rules of golf and how to play the game with skill sessions included. The 1st week will be review and spent on the range and short game area with a review of rules and etiquette to be prepared for the on course sessions.
Play Golf Clinics will be by invite only. If you are interested in this program, contact tara@cambridgegolfclub.com for an evaluation.
Cost: 260.00 + HST = $293.80
Arrival each day at 5:30pm. Sessions run from 5:45-7:30pm

2026 GOLF CAMPS (AGES 8+)
The junior camp program, consists of four days of instruction and games at Cambridge Golf Club. We host half day camps only and they will include golf as well as instruction by PGA of Canada Golf Professionals. Clubs available to use if required.

Girls Club is a exciting option for girls ages 7-16 to learn golf and meet new friends in a team like atmosphere. We want to develop the golfer that understands the importance of positive values both on and off the golf course, technical and tactical skills of the game, fitness and nutrition and most importantly how to play the game and have fun! Girls Club is available to all levels of play. The athletes will be placed in “teams” based on ability and age.
Girls Club – Offered on Monday and Thursday evenings from 5:30pm-7pm
8 Week Programs offered in May/June = $240.00 + HST = $271.20
4 week Programs offered in July or August = $120.00 + HST = $135.60

- Registration will be accepted on a first come first serve basis and space is limited in each clinic/camp.

New Competitor Team – Cambridge Cobras (REGISTRATION CLOSED)
The New Competitor (NC) program offers players with a comprehensive golf coaching program with the goal to expose athletes to more advanced golf coaching principles and introductory level competition. This program will have coaching opportunities running from May – September.
Developing Competitor Team – Cambridge Cobras (REGISTRATION CLOSED)
Graduates of the New Competitor program may be selected to participate in the Developing Competitor (DC) program. The Developing Competitor Program is designed for athletes aged 14 – 18 and are coached to refine golf fundamentals and athletic abilities and are typically prepared for performance at regional and provincial level competitions. This program involves activities with exposure to experts in the field of sport science.
FAMILY GOLF
Juniors (Age 16 & under) play free with a paying adult Weekends and holidays after 3pm.
